Enrollment

Enrollment is now open for the 2007-08 school year. To obtain more information and an application form please contact Dorthy Livengood, director, at 397-5717. A child is enrolled once the completed application form, along with the $35 registration fee, is received in the preschool office. Classes are filled on a first-come basis. Enrollment will be confirmed by written notice.

Class Options:

A class for 2-year-olds is available on Thursday mornings from 9:00-11:15. A teacher and an aide will provide structured activities for this class of 8-10 children.

Children who are 3 years old prior to September 1 may attend classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-ll:15 a.m. or 12:15-2:30 p.m. Students must be potty trained.

Children who are 4 years old prior to September 1 have two class options. A two-day class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11:15 a.m. or 12:15-2:30 p.m. A three-day class meets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 9-11:15 a.m. or 12:15-2:30 p.m.

Activities:

Students enjoy supervised free play, large & small group activities, activities to develop eye/hand coordination, large motor activities, Bible stories, snack time, finger plays and music, field trips, introduction to letters/colors/numbers/shapes. Curriculum in the 4 & 5 year old classes is geared toward Kindergarten readiness.

Tuition:

  • 1-day program $252.00
  • 2-day program $424.00
  • 3-day program $636.00

A $10 discount is realized if tuition is paid in full by the first day of school. Otherwise tuition is divided into two payments with the first half due the first day of school and the balance due the end of January.

Sibling Discount

A 10% tuition discount is offered to families with 2 or more children enrolled during the same school year. This discount applies only to the tuition of the second and subsequent children enrolled that year.

Teachers:

Each class has a head teacher and one or two teacher aides. The teachers have a college education and/or have experience working with young children. All of our staff are Christians and represent a variety of church denominations. They have all been screened by the Child Abuse History Clearance.

Class Size:

We stay within the ratio of 1 staff per 7 students with a maximum class size of 21 students.
